Twycross Zoo

Twycross Zoo, near Atherstone in Warwickshire hosts one of the largest collections of monkeys and apes in Britain, including the UK’s only group of bonobos.

A breeding for endangered primate species ensures that often babies and toddlers can be seen playing around in family great ape groups, and in many of our monkey groups.

Other species include Asian elephants, snow leopards, penguins, meerkats, tapir, hyena, and the world’s rarest big cat, the Amur leopard.

The central location, near the motorway network, enables easy access.
