Lincoln Cathedral

Lincoln Cathedral is the third largest cathedral in England. Building this superb example of Gothic architecture started in 1073 and the imposing West Front of Norman Arches set in a 13th century screen dominates the city skyline.

Lincoln is a compact city and the cathedral is only a short walk from the city's other main attractions, including Lincoln Castle and independent shops on the aptly named Steep Hill.
