From the mountains in the north to the valleys in the south, Wales has something for all the family. Historic castles, sandy beaches, stunning scenery, narrow gauge railways and family amusement parks are just some of the attractions that entice visitors
The two major cities, Cardiff and Swansea, are compact but full of history. Both have been recently redeveloped and Cardiff Bay and Swansea Marina are home to top class attractions and fine bars and restaurants.
The South Wales coast is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Britain. Visit the resort of Porthcawl, explore the stunning Gower Peninsula or discover the home of Dylan Thomas at Laugharne.
Wales is home to three national parks. Visitors to Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire Coast or Brecon Beacons enjoy superb scenery and activities including hill walking and water sports.
The mid Wales coast has the small, but interesting, resorts of Cardigan , Aberystwyth and Harlech. Visitors to North Wales can enjoy the resorts of Llandudno and Colwyn Bay or the historic towns of Conwy or Caernarfon before crossing the Menai Bridge to Anglesey.
