The Isle of Wight is a short trip across the Solent from Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington. Measuring just 23 miles by 13 miles, he Isle of Wight has a wide selection of attractions including fun parks, animal and bird sanctuaries, carnivals and festivals; water sports, including the annual Cowes Yachting Festival, are never far away.

 For the energetic, there are plenty of sports facilities, including windsurfing, sailing and paragliding; And for those who prefer to unwind and explore,  you can enjoy the stunning, unspoilt and varied scenery,.  Walk on a beautiful cliff top,sit on one of 13 award winning beaches or take a trip to the historic Osborne House.

Discover the towns of Ryde, Ventnor, Shanklin, Sandown and Newport; take a trip on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway or visit the historic Carisbrooke Castle.

At Alum Bay, a chairlift offers unrivalled views of the famous coloured  sands and iconic Needles Rock and Lighthouse.  The Needles Park sells gifts made from the local sand and glass products blown by local craftsmen on the premises.
